PROJECT STATEMENT

Sandpoint Idaho has a rich history and a bright future. Designing a space for this particular community involves looking deep into the users and the culture. The foundation of this design focuses on the history because only the past can help us build for the future. Lumber was the leading industry in Sandpoint and it is the reason this community exists today. Aerospace is comsuming the role of the lumber and is becoming the new provider. This change could drastically impact the existing culture of this friendly and traditional community. This design servers as a balance of what is and what will be, providing a space for culture to thrive in a sea of change.
